Unit 4– Planning the layout of my Final Piece

After completing the actual model itself i now need to consider how I’m actually going to display to give it the desired impact, I’ll do this through creating some drawings and using the process of trial and error. Hopefully I’d like to bring the element of rain into my peice somehow to make the technology that would be the centre point of my design more impactful.

My first layout idea, I didn’t like this one as i felt it looked to plain and the sign blocked the model.

In my second idea i decided to add a backdrop as I wanted to bring it away from the the white board slightly, I think this has really bought the peice together.

I decided to add some model people to give a feel of the scale.

Decided to use a LED light to light my model from above as a I felt this would improve the shadows.
